The Competition is open to musicians age 25 or younger who play the following instruments:
Piano
Violin
Cello
Voice
Woodwinds
1. All participants will be divided into four groups based on their age (as of June 3, 2023)
Category A: 10 – 12 years old
Category B: 13 – 15 years old
Category C: 16 – 18 years old
Category D: 19 – 25 years old
Every participant will receive a Certificate and an invitation to perform in Arte Musica Festival on June 3, 2023. The winners of the competition will receive a special Diploma and will be invited to perform in the Winners Gala recital on June 3, 2023.
2. Repertoire requirements
Each contestant is allowed to perform a single or several musical compositions. Contestants are allowed a maximum performance time of 9 minutes. Appropriate cuts are allowed to meet the time limit. All solo works must be performed from memory. The use of the score is permitted for instrumental duets and ensembles.

Application deadline is Thursday, May 25, 2023.
All contestants must submit a video recording of their piece(s) by May 25, 2023. Upload your competition video to Youtube and send the link to artemusicamn@gmail.com or via online application from.
4. A non-refundable application fee of $38 is due with each completed registration form. No application will be considered without receiving an application fee. The application fee can be paid via:

5. Limits on Enrollment. Only the first 30 applications will be accepted. Complete applications received after a category is full will be placed on a waitlist. If we are not able to admit you, your application fee will be refunded.
6. Judging.
The contestants’ performance will be evaluated by a professional jury. The decision of the jury is final.
Musical scores do not need to be provided unless requested.
Any contestant may request a copy of their critiques via email by June 10, 2023.
Results and invitations for performances will be emailed by May 30, 2023.
7. The Winners Gala Recital is free and open to the public.
