EKATERINA KNYAZEVA
Ekaterina Knyazeva is a concert solo pianist and chamber musician renowned for her captivating performances that traverse continents and transcend musical boundaries. With a career spanning prestigious concert halls across Europe, Russia, and the United States, Ekaterina has established herself as a formidable force in the world of classical music.
Ekaterina’s musical journey has taken her to renowned venues such as The Mariinsky Theater and Philharmonic Halls in St. Petersburg, The Laeiszhalle, Tschaikowsky-Saal, and Mozart-Säle in Hamburg, and Rachmaninoff Hall in Moscow, among others. Her performances as a soloist with orchestras including the Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra, Taurida Symphony Orchestra and others.
Ekaterina’s artistry extends beyond borders, as evidenced by her participation in major international festivals such as Musiksommer am Zurichsee in Switzerland and Kammermusik am Hafen, Schlossfestspiele Hohenpriessnitz Machern, and Music Islands in Germany. In 2018, she led the esteemed concert series “Weltklassik am Clavier” in Zurich and served as a visiting professor at the Pianoonline Academy in Alpnachstad, Switzerland.
As a prize winner of numerous international and national competitions, Ekaterina has continually pushed musical boundaries. Her collaborations with contemporary composers such as Sergey Slonimsky and Igor Vorobiev have showcased her versatility and dedication to expanding the classical repertoire. Ekaterina’s commitment to fostering young talent is evident through her support of children’s performing arts, as seen in her collaboration with Slonimsky on a disc of piano pieces released by the publishing house “Composer” in 2013.

ANTON MELNICHENKO
Russian-born pianist Anton Melnichenko has captivated audiences on several continents with his masterful performances since his debut solo recital at the remarkable age of twelve. Throughout his career, Anton has consistently garnered both public adoration and critical acclaim, earning him accolades and special audience awards at numerous international competitions.
Anton’s musical journey led him to the esteemed halls of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he honed his craft under the tutelage of Sergei Dorensky and Andrey Pisarev. He furthered his education by earning an Artist Diploma at Hamline University, followed by Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota, studying under the guidance of Professor Alexander Braginsky.
Anton’s talent has been recognized with top prizes at a plethora of international and national competitions, including first prizes at the International Competition “Citta di Fasano” in Italy, the Schubert Club Competition in the USA, the Gavrilin International Piano Competition in Russia, International Competition The Art of 21st century in Ukraine among others. His artistry has been showcased on prestigious television and radio stations in Russia, the US, and Europe, including Minnesota Public Radio, Russia K Channel (Culture), and Russian National Television.
In addition to his solo career, Anton Melnichenko is revered as an accomplished collaborative pianist, collaborating with instrumentalists and vocalists worldwide. As a staff collaborative pianist at Hamline University, he shares his expertise and passion for music with aspiring musicians, nurturing the next generation of talent.
